Hi, all! My name is Emily. I’m a 30-something, mother of three boys. I’m married to the one God created just for me, Lyle. We all live in central Illinois where we are passionate about loving the hurting and raising these boys to love Jesus fiercely.
I created this blog to journal and share my testimony. My life has been intensely difficult and painful, most of which is my fault, and if I can use any of the lessons I’ve learned or any of the tidbits of joy that God has revealed to me along the way to bless someone else, then I in turn will be completely blessed and honored.
So many things have changed since the inception of this blog. It’s been an on-again off-again project… But God is so good and I just need you to know! So, I’ll be picking up where I left off, in a season of much less pain, but so many lessons learned.
